Adult Therapy

A new wave of consciousness through may begin to mend what is broken, find what is lost and walk us graciously into the age of peace and enlightenment as higher functioning and healthier adults.

Individual adult therapy identifies and resolves personal and interpersonal problems and issues. A wide range of emotional and relational issues can be connected to a person's family of origin. Anxiety, Depression, Anger, Fear and Repeating Relationship problems are often tied up with unresolved issues from the past.

Our history plays a vital role in our adult experiences. As children we absorb the pain and shame from negative experiences from which come false beliefs and develop short term strategies to cope with the pain and shame. The short term coping leads to discomfort and long term issues in other areas.

Counselling begins with an initial appointment to fully explore the nature of the problems or issues that you want to address and resolve. The therapeutic goals and type of therapy are mutually established and agreed to between the client and the therapist. The client is provided with a plan as a guide through the counselling process.

We cannot change the childhood we lived. We can only change what we believe, how we think, and how we act. Therapy assists these positive changes and increases your well-being, as you build stronger life-skills, change your behaviours and strengthen important relationships.

When inter-generational issues lurk, even our very best efforts seem to miss the mark. Interrupting the cycle automatically empowers us to freedom from old attitudes and behaviors.
